I'm feeling a bit lost as of late as to what I should do with my art.
Since the discontinuation of the Paradoxia project, I have been spending a lot of my time experimenting with new techniques and styles.
I've been tinkering with using pencils only, new crow quills, colored pencils, digital... You name it.
I've also been studying a few of the various art books I own that I never quite got around to reading. Usually, you can find some tidbits of very useful information in almost any one of these how to draw, paint, illustrate, yada, yada books, even if they seem the similar to one you've already read.
Now, I'm kind of floundering as to which style of drawing I should focus on... Cartoony, or more detailed.
I've been trying to develop some sort of hybridized work flow where I can take care of all elements of the artwork on paper, then easily change them to color in the digital realm, but every idea I try to execute always has some sort of drawback that pretty much nullifies what I was trying to accomplish.
I have a few new ideas I think I'm gonna get to work on today.
Do any of you have any ideas, comments, or feedback about my work you'd like to unload on me?
I'm all ears.
